Tag path binding

Afternoon, in my task to help move faster i was attempting to Copy/Paste Tag Paths to an Object on my Screen so to modify a property (Image 1)

However i am locked from Copy / Paste. I must only select from the drop list.. Is there a feature/ switch/ function i am missing here. when i select the item manually i am allowed to proceed

would the txtBox.Value [changed / cr/lf / lost focus] not be a better way to allow faster development? / Improvement to the binding page?

I am able to copy a path, using 8.1.25.

off selecting to something else (bi-directional for instance) on the Window while keeping the pasted path will allow you to move on( not the number to color boxes).
