Tags and Localization

I have an OPC-UA server that supports localization using the OPC-UA standard. I was told, or misunderstood, that the Tag Browser within the Ignition Designer uses the BrowseName of a Node instead of the NodeId is this true?

I realize that the DisplayName is used for localization but I want to ensure that the Tag Browser does not use it.

The Display Name attribute is used to give a name to the things you see in the OPC browser tree, but all subscriptions, reads, and writes are done with the NodeId.

I just corrected my post because I realized I referenced the wrong name for localization.

I wanted to verify NodeId was used and you have done that.
