I am trying to make a tank with a fill level inside of ignition perspective using the tanks from the symbol factory. The video in inductive university show putting a tank cutaway then using the shape tool inside of vision then selecting difference, I cannot find the shape tab inside of perspective or a level indicator.
You are confusing Vision and Perspective. There is no Shape tab in Perspective.
You need to use Cylindrical Tank in Perspective if you want to animate the fill of the tank.
