Hi All,

Has anyone tried getting serial slave Modbus data from a Teltonika router into ignition using the data to server function or the opcua?

We are using Kepware instead of Ignition to poll the serial slave device behind the Teltonika, but it was an abnormal setup to make work. Instead of RTU over TCP, we were able to poll the slave device as if it was Modbus TCP.

However, I'd recommend contacting Teltonika support. They required a Firmware update to our RUT955 to get it 100% commissioned.

Did you have issues with Ignition?

I also use Kepware but I have not tried it in this instance.

Never tried Ignition with it, just Kepware to poll the data. We configured a Modbus TCP device in Kepware and pointed it at the Teltonika IP and requested the Slave Device's Modbus Registers. The Teltonika is acting as a serial to TCP server.
