Does anyone know of a good temperature meter that can log data but also compatible with ignition? This would be for a cold storage room where we need to have logs of the temperature and then alert on if the temp goes above 50.
Thanks
Mark

So I did some additional research and this is what I am looking at.
The data collection device
DigiRail Connect - Input/Output Modules with Ethernet and RS485 Connec (iothrifty.com)
The Sensor
WTC PFA Insulated Custom Length Beaded Wire T Type Thermocouples (iothrifty.com)
Why not wire something into a PLC?
That was one direction we were thinking of but our PLCs are very old and we don't have a strong team in the factory to support them so standalone is just a better option for us.
That DigiRail device supports Modbus TCP, which is well-supported by Ignition.
