I am not able to change the background color of my Text Input Field component. It also has a bottom border that is not able to be removed under normal css. When I click in the component and just hard code a style to that component of a background color of red it will not change. If i say border style to none the bottom border stays. The only way I was able to do it was with an advanced style sheet however when you drag multiple on to the page they all use the same css tag .Input_Field so in order for me to add anything individually to a component I have to make a style class that is empty so I can reference a custom class on the stylesheet so I can change the individual background color and remove the bottom border. This seems insane to me am I missing something?
I just created a new Container View and couldn't replicate your issue. See below. What if you just did the basic designer restart? There could be an odd issue with your JxBrowser rendering CSS in the designer. Also, if you saved it and loaded an actual Perspective session do you see the same that your designer shows? In the browser you can use Developer tools to see where the CSS is orginating from to work through the problem more.
But please don't do black on red! It's very hard on the eyes. Give gentle visual cues and be consistent.
Dillon,
Thanks for the response. After messing around with it enough the only solution was to scrap my current project and start new. Not sure what happened to cause this but after making a new project my CSS is working correctly now. Thanks for pointing this out.
It also never hurts to check out logs and save that problem project to then share it with IA Support in a ticket. Could help find a bug that others have too
