I am trying to connect to Citect OPC server via “OPC- DA Com Connection” Locally and I keep getting “Faulted” status with error msg “The server did not indicate that it was ready to receive connections”.
Please note: Ignition-7.7.5-X64 and OPC-Core-Components-x64 are installed on Win7x64 environment, Also I was able to connect to Citect OPC server via different OPC test clients running locally but unfortunately Ignition still can not connect.

Hi,

Are you able to ping the Citect server from the gateway? You mentioned that you were able to connect locally; were you able to connect using a remote test client? How are you connected to this Citect server? Can you confirm which version of DA this server is configured to use?
