Time Zone Change heads up

I was at a job site this week in a different time zone ( Newfoundland Time ) UTC -3:30 installing Ignition on a Virtual Machine supplied to me by the customer. Since this company’s headquarters is in Colorado, the VM was set up in MDT, even though the VM was in the time zone I was in.
I noticed something was up when all database time stamps were 3 1/2 hours behind . Resetting the time zone on the VM to local time did not resolve the issue of timestamps out of sync. It was not until I had to stop then start both the MySQL service and the Ignition service did the database timestamps get back in sync with local time.
Thought I would pass this along.
