Timeout Alarm Setting

Hello All
I am wondering if there is an alarm setting for timeouts. As in the value of a tag has not changed for x time, therefore something is wrong. This ignores the timestamp of the tag, checking only the value. This is to detect faults in the sensor system I am monitoring, where the sensor messes up, but the OPC part still functions, causing it to report "live" data that never changes.
Similar thing I found was the following link, but it is really old:

Not directly. I make an expression tag that monitors the diffference between the monitored tag and now, and alarm off that.
