Tooltip on tag folders

I am looking to define a MQTT topic structure in Ignition Edge. We want to use abbreviated or assign codes to create the folder structure to keep the topic levels as short as possible to save bandwidth. Is there a way to create tooltips or documentation to a tag folder so we can give the engineer more information about what tags should go into what folder.

For example, a folder structure as follows:
1A/BOR/PS01

Would mean:
Absraction/Borehole/Borehole1

Note the folder structure links in with our ERP system asset codes so cannot be changed.

Looking for a way to denote a folder type or description. I have a script that can find tags in folders but it doesn't know what that folder is within the process. I need to provide the location when posting the value. That could be the folder the tag was found in or it could be one or two folders above. This does kind of work, but I would want the custom property to be visible to the user in the Tag Browser. Which from what I gather might not be possible?
