I’m currently noticed that the trial period seems to be expiring much earlier than expected. Specifically, the trial gateway shows that it will expire in 2 hours, even though I haven’t reached the usual 2-hour full trial window or the expected 12-hour total daily limit.
Details:
- Ignition Version: 8.1.48
- Platform: Windows 11
- No other gateway sessions were active to my knowledge
- Trial wasn’t manually reset or extended earlier today
Issue:
Even after resetting the trial, I’m seeing that the available time is already reduced, and the gateway disables editing and session interaction sooner than expected.
Can someone confirm:
- Whether this is expected behavior?
- If there’s a fix or a workaround to regain the full trial time (e.g., resetting clock, daily limit, etc.)?
- If my trial is locked due to something like a virtualized environment or licensing issue?
Appreciate any guidance here — I’m trying to finish a critical evaluation before committing to a license.
