Do trial licenses on a containerized ignition deployment work the same way as they would on a noncontainerized deployment?
I.e. if I don't pass in a license key as an env var to docker run, will my gateway run with a standard trial license
Yes, but you'll have to rebuild the instance from scratch to get a fresh two hours, unless you have a human perform resets through the web interface. (You are not allowed to reset trial with automated methods, nor to reset it before it expires.)

Yep, web interface/container rebuild is what I'm envisioning to get the trial restarted.
