Triggered Expression Item gives Bad_Stale

The triggered expression always gives Bad_Stale even though the underlying expression always returns a constant value . How to fix this error

I have found the root cause. Just sharing here for others reference. The checkbox "Execute the Group as a Trigger" was checked but but the trigger value is not changing at all. I have unchecked it and it worked
