Turn ON/OFF High Speed Trends?

Hello!

For our application, we have a batch based process. We’d like to collect high-speed trends for specific variables (in their own scan class) while the sequence is in operation and halt the trending once the sequence stops. Can anyone recommend some options to achieve this?

edit: using Ignition 7.9.4.
