Getting a OPC-UA connection fault. “UaException: status=Bad_InternalError” Any feedback on this topic. The PC was rebooted and the problem start as soon as machine rebooted.
Can you tell us more? Ignition version? Upload log files? Is this a connection to the internal server or an external server?
Attempted to delete and restart certificates. No luck
You'd need to stop the Ignition service and then delete these two files:
$IGNITION/data/opcua/client/security/certificates.pfx$IGNITION/data/opcua/server/security/certificates.pfx
and then start it again.
You should also start planning on upgrading to a recent and supported version - 8.0.5 is quite old and the entire 8.0.x version line is unsupported. Make sure your license is eligible for upgrade first by contacting support or your sales rep.
We will plan on upgrading. What is the best method to stop services? Where will I find these files.
