I've got alarms set on a UDT that I need email and text alerts sent out. I've got the pipeline working, but I seem to be having an issue with the actually readout. I've attached a screenshot of the UDT set up but basically I'm looking to take the 2 memory tags I set up, display them both and a set value afterwards. Am I missing something here?
Aside from the fact that these should be setpoints in the PLC and the PLC should handle raising the alarm instead of using a level alarm on the Ignition side, I don't see any reason why this wouldn't work.
However there are mores setpoints in the setup above what you've screenshotted that could affect it.
Thanks for the reply. The system has its own alarms set for alerting different states of the system as well as values etc., but we are getting a new system with Vision as its HMI, so i'm interested to see how that goes. These values are for management/supervisory so that key individuals know what is going on. The other setpoints are just so when I set up my embedded view, I can specify the values what I want to appear. They are all just memory tags with a string that I manually enter when creating each instance.
I ended up needing to put a + between {[.Channel]} and {[.Name]} and then it worked properly.
