UDT nesting-create 'data type instance' is unselectable

Hello,

I’m following the guide here -> https://docs.inductiveautomation.com/display/DOC79/UDT+Composition

but when I make a new UDT instance, then press the green arrow to create a nested UDT instance, I cannot select the ‘data type instance’ option. I can create folders and all other types of tags inside my UDT, just not UDTs.

Has anyone else ran into this issue?

edit: This is a bug in 7.9.4. Coworker submitted a ticket on it a while back, supposedly fixed but unfortunately you don’t get the fixes if you don’t update ._.
