Not sure what the issue is here…

1/ PLC Device looks okay.
( Line1AutopackNew Allen-Bradley CompactLogix true Connected: Protocol: EIP - Run Mode )

2/ Can select tags through tag browser. Tags have red x through them after selection.

3/ Cannot read tags through OPC Quick Client ( No Response On Tags, Response On Diagnostics )

You need to use the new “Logix Driver” for v21+ CompactLogix and ControlLogix connections.

If you can hold off a day or so, the version that’s going to be released with 7.7.4 has fixed all known outstanding issues and has dramatically better memory usage.

Whether you wait or not you’ll have to delete that device entry and create a new one using the right driver if you’re connecting to v21+ processors.

BTW, we also have AB PLC Major Revision 24 that we have not tested but are planning on using in upcoming machinery.
