Update of Root, Intermediate, and Issuing CA Certificates

For security updates, we have been given a mandate to update all of our SSL root, intermediate, and issuing CA certs. We CAN do this through SSL cert renewal, but I want to explore if we have the option of the updating the key store of the existing certs. Is it possible to update the key store with key tool and not have to do a full SSL cert renewal?

In other words, which of the following files would it be and would we be able to get the password?

E:\Ignition\webserver\metro-keystore

or

E:\Ignition\data\certificates\cert-chain-store

Thanks,

Nick

The file you’re looking for is ssl.pfx, these ones you’ve listed are related to the Gateway Network.

By default the certificate is stored under the alias ignition, password ignition.
