Does anyone know whats the best way to find out what is updating a memory tag(something like cross referencing from Ctrlogix PLC) ? It seems like it can be updated from almost anywhere-somewhere from a gateway script to a tag event script.
Sometimes I need to troubleshoot a brand new ignition project, and its really hard to know what is updating a specific memory tag. Its usually something in the gateway script in most of my cases, but thats just a lucky guess.
You can use find/replace to search for where that memory tag is used.

Yes, I am aware of the Search feature, but that maybe a hit or miss. Might not work for indirect tag addressing
You can try searching for a partial path. Oft times a base path is hard coded.
