Hello, we have a ignition system in place that was designed offsite by a third party. There has been an issue the last few months with slow printing times for label printers, after looking into it I believe updating the memory allocation could improve condition (physical memory has been added already).
I've downloaded ignition to update the " ignition.conf " file as required. However, I don't believe this is connected with my existing project so therefore won't actually modify memory allocation. Any feedback will be much appreciated!
From the memory trend you are not being constrained by memory at all.
What about the CPU?
Do you have access to the actual server the gateway is running on?
That is where you would have to modify the ignition.conf, but again you aren't memory constrained at all.
If you have access to the actual server I would start looking at utilization there.

Hey there!
Based on your experience would this memory trend cause any issue? This Ignition server is running in an Industrial PC 8GB (Windows 11 IoT OS). If I increase Gateway memory to 6GB Iām facing some Clock Drift events even the server restarted itself.
Cheers,
You should never have less than 8GB of ram allocated to Windows for normal operation.
What you have here is a drastic overload of your server. If you need to allocate 6GB of ram to Ignition, you need 8+6GB total system ram as a bare minimum.
