I had 7.1.6 runing on a linux box.
I upgraded to 7.1.7 by copying the context into the ./upgrades directory that I created.
After rebooting it seems to have worked.
The gateway says it is at version 7.1.7 6048.
The modules say they are at x.x.6 6048. So something is fishy.
What’s going on?

Nothing, the versions of the modules don’t match exactly with the Ignition platform. The build number is the most important. If all of your build numbers are 6048 then you are good.
Yeah, we should update the release notes. Due to an unfortunate oversight in our build process, 7.1.7 modules didn’t get the right version number- but as Travis mentioned, the build number should be correct.
