Upgrade from 7.3.9 to 8

Hello Everyone,

I hope one of you guys can help me with that, so I’ve been trying to upgrade from 7.3.9 to 8, but I realize when I go to the devices the PLC connections are not created, any thoughts?.

I could create the connections again, but I’m wondering why version 8 is doing that.

I wouldn’t expect such a big jump in versions to work. Try restoring to 7.5 then back that up. Use the 7.5 backup to restore into 7.7, and back up again. Use the 7.7 backup to restore into 7.9, and back up again. Use the 7.9 backup to restore into 8.0 or 8.1.
