Will I have to setup all the database connections, and the OPC Client connections again? Or will they rollover?
What are some of the pitfalls I need to avoid doing this upgrade from 8.1.18 to 8.1.32?
Take a backup first as a precaution, but no, all DB connections, config, is stored as part of the GWBK.
Might be an issue with JDBC drivers if you're using e.g. MySQL, but that can be easily resolved at no cost.
I would also first deactivate, upgrade, then reactivate the license.
Is there a reason you are only upgrading to 8.1.32? Lots of bugs fixed after that, too.
Company policy and procedures at the job site requires major verifications and qualifications to go to a higher version that what has been test and approved for.
