Is there any way to use a proxy to run the license key install/updates from a machine that doesn’t have direct internet access?
You mean besides the key file upload method?
Yeah, that works fine.
But our business machines have had sporadic issues getting to the IA site at all(corporate proxy on the business side) and i’d rather have it be direct through the process proxy if possible.
If you mean reaching the IA activation server via your corporate proxy server - I don’t see why this wouldn’t be possible. Unfortunately, if it doesn’t work for you right now then configuration would be best done by having your IT folks contact IA tech support to go over ports and IP addresses.
Guess I’ll move my hat to the other side then and switch into IT mode.
