First official Ignition project here. I'm trying to figure out why I'm not able to use my user management screen. I've set everything on the Gateway to point to this. It shows all my users and roles. If I run it in Designer, it works fine. As soon as I go live, I get this...Please help. I'm having some chart issue as well but those I will post separately.
And what's wrong with that? You haven't told us what you're expecting.
Have a look at the excellent and elegant Perspective User Management on the Ignition Exchange. You import it into your project and away you go. Did I miss the vision tag or was it added later?
Ok... So according to the component manual Vision - User Management | Ignition User Manual you need to enable Allow User Admin on the gateway settings: Gateway General Security Settings | Ignition User Manual
Have you done that?
So...turns out I didn't enable the permissions in my Designer Vision properties. As soon as I did this they all worked. Learning curve!
