User Source Configuration File Location

Hello,

I just did a clean install of Ignition 8.1.40 and while configuring the gateway I changed the default user source name. This has caused the system to no longer let me log in.

How can I change the user-source settings from the Ignition files to restore access?

Use the gwcmd command line tool's -p option.

  1. cd C:\Program Files\Inductive Automation\Ignition
  2. gwcmd -p
  3. Access to the gateway, will prompt for creating a new user.

Don't forget to undo the temporary user source and IdP after fixing your original authentication configuration.
