Hello, I'm using Ignition 8.1.42. I have about 40 users. I removed a user out of the system a couple of months ago and ensured before I did that the user was not in any alarm rosters anymore. However, they are still receiving the alarm callouts. I ensured that there was no one else with the same e-mail or phone number in the system. I have searched all over and cannot find how they are still getting the alarm callouts. And, yes, I have restarted the system since I removed the user. Anyone have any ideas as to how that might happen?
Notification Pipelines could be using a SQL Query to pull contact info from a Database, that would not come up in any searches of Ignition.
If this is repeatedly happening then work backwards from the email.
Identify what alarms are being triggered from the email > identify the pipeline used on the alarms > identify the contact method in the pipeline, etc.
If you are 100% convinced you have found the pipeline/contact message, and you do not see the user in the roster. Then make a change to the text of the alarm notification message, and repeat this entire process to validate you are not dealing with something ridiculous like:
An entire dev server also notifying people, but the email fatigue is so bad everyone just assumes the messages are meant to be doubled, and now this user is getting only the dev messages
