I'm using a UDT that works for every tag except one. The only difference is one parameter that points it to a different tag. I can browse the tag by OPC in the tag browser and I can use the OPC quick client on the gateway web page and find it. It exists in the PLC.
XV_2169_HOA in the PLC is actually XV_2169_hoa according to the OPC Browser?
Case SeNsItIvItY matters.
If this was "hoa" and is now "HOA" you may try temporarily renaming the tag with a 2 or some other suffix, then renaming it back to the "HOA" without it to trigger it to show up correctly. I think I've had some renames where it's only a change in case not trigger the tag to show up in OPC correctly. I believe Rockwell's PLCs aren't case sensitive...but OPC-UA is and in the mix of the 2 not being the same you'll run into issues like this.
I changed it from hoa in the plc to HOA because in the OPC Item path of the ignition tag it is HOA. So, I changed to match. But the opc browser still sees it as hoa. I tried refreshing, I tried disabling the connection then re enabling. I restarted the gateway, both OPC browser and the OPC Quick Client still sees it as hoa.

My guess is what happens is that the PLC doesn't trigger that a change was made to the tags and still presets it with the lowercase "hoa". That's why I suggested leaving the uppercase....just add a 2 or something to the end....wait a few seconds...then change it back. That should trigger the PLC to see the new name and tell Ignition to do a re-browse to pick up the new name.
