I’m having some issues with a large project in Ignition 8.05 using Vision – client crashes, some weirdness with the alarm journal, a couple other minor annoyances. The logging on the gateway seems like it should be a big help in troubleshooting, but I’m finding the amount of information overwhelming, and filtering it seems to require knowledge of what specific modules are involved.
Is there any sort of guide somewhere to using these logs and filters? Maybe with realistic examples? I’ve searched the manual, IU videos, and forums without any luck. I suspect there are answers buried in the logging, but I don’t know how to sift through them.
Any guidance or suggestions would be much appreciated.
