Using ignition 7.9 Without Java Installed

I am hoping to get a nailed on answer if its is possible to open ignition on a client machine without Java if the parent machine has got java installed with any version of 7.9 or was this only added to the ignition 8

If you use the Native Client Launcher instead of the JNLP files you can launch a Vision Client without Java installed because the NCL includes its own copy.

Show some logical troubleshooting!

  • Did you confirm that the gateway is running?
  • What result did you get when you pinged the gateway from the client PC?
  • What result did you get when you browsed to http://<gatewayIp>:8088 from the client PC?

The gateway is running as its on my PC Infront of me and trying to access it from another beside me i ca ping the Ip address both ways and i can open the web browser but when i go to use the native launcher and type my project in it comes up available and i click on it it starts to download the packets to open the project and when it gets to the 71/71 it crashes and shows that error instead of the usual open of the project

That sounds like some anti-virus interfering.
