Like to know if commercial license is need to use MySQL with Ignition when Ignition and MySQL is to be delivered to another end customer. In my case, the Ignition connects to MySQL via JDBC, no code change within MySQL
No, the GPL allows for MySQL to be distributed in this instance. In fact it’s not technically being distributed, as it’s already installed on a server. It’s seems like a fine distinction, I know, but there’s really no difference if your customer installs it, or they pay you to install it for them.
