We have a customer we upgraded from 7.9 to 8.1.1. We are logging the Modbus TCP Is Connected tag from all connected devices to keep an eye on communication failures.
We’ve noticed since the upgrade that the logged record is missing changes, so that a trend of the tag shows the value stuck on low when the Tag Browser shows the value went back to high hours previously. If we restart the tag the correct value is immediately logged.
Anyone else seen this? We’re due to develop a large logging system shortly and if we can’t rely on logging we’ll have to look elsewhere.
