View Only users and switching users via scripting (plaintext password?)

I have a View Only (Guest) user in Vision that I have setup for Autologin.
This user will be persistently logged in, and when another user logs out, it will swap to this user (I do not want to go to the normal login page).

Is there a way to securely use switchUser without having to plain text the password in the script?

Basically, no.

But anyone you're letting into the designer has remote code execution capability on the Ignition server anyways, so it's somewhat a moot point; if you don't trust someone, don't let them into the designer at all.
