Can anyone give me some good recommendations for VM resources to ensure good performance of a new system? I’ll have about 50 devices connected to the gateway, and the VM will be VMWare with Windows Server 2012 host and guest OS.

This configuration worked well for me:
3 VMs
1 for Ignition Gateway
1 for MySQL database
1 for Ignition OPC-UA server
each VM was configured with similar resources:
