I believe there was a big shortage a while ago.
Did anyone switch to an alternative and what were your results?
Looking for static vision dashboards to a TV on HDMI/dP.
I use OnLogic (e.g. CL250) for my Edge hosting, that's way overkill for this application. I have a server with Vision at this site.
Vision is a little bit of a pain to run on ARM platforms because the client launcher doesn't work, you end up having to cobble together a shell script to manually launch it and hope that never stops working after an upgrade ("legacy client launcher" is the magic search term).
I've done it before, albeit that was 2018ish. This is a site I'm onsite at every week for the foreseeable, so if one TV craps itself they won't mind much, as I have PDF reports being spat out on both production-based triggers and set schedules.
I also have an Edge instance onsite with Perspective, so they can always leave that tablet beside a station if needed.
