Hey everyone,
I'm a linux noob and I need to install the vision client launcher on Ubuntu. The couple posts I've seen regarding it on here don't explain it very well. I've been able to extract the files from the tar file but that's about it. I also need to set it up to run the application at startup and auto login to Ignition. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I am also a linux noob, but i believe all you have left to do is open the extracted files and run the Vision Client Launcher then select your project and create a shortcut to it. Lookup the properties for the shortcut and copy the command. Open Start up Applications and add a custom command and paste your command in.
The auto login for your project can be set in the Designers > Project Properties > Vision > Login > Enable Auto-Login.
If I've led you astray hopefully someone corrects me.
