Vision client tag error runtime

Ignition 8.1.36 vision

Hello,

it happened to me in some projects to have a vision-client tag correctly linked and working in designer, but not working with an error at runtime. The tag was binding to a textfield component that signaled an overlay error in runtime.
By deleting the tag and recreating it with another name, the binding at runtime work. I had to rename the tag because recreating it with the same name still gave me an error. Could this be a problem with this version? It has never happened to me before.

Not what you're describing exactly. If you can show more details it may be possible to see what is going wrong but I work with vision client tags al the time and have never had to delete and recreate one to get things working right. I suspect some other issue but you would need to show exactly how things are configured.

I've solved the issue in the project for now. If it reoccurs (if it does), I'll provide a more detailed report of the problem.
