Can you send an email alert in VPE?
I haven’t been able to yet as I get an error.
I can send email alerts in the standard Ignition version just not VPE.
Wondering if it’s disabled in the VPE version.
Yes you should be able to. What error are you getting?
Rechecked my email settings and in the ‘from address setting’ I had Ignition@cox.net
Since I am using Cox’s smtp server in my tests, the Cox server was rejecting the email message
since Ignition@Nowhere.net and it worked okay.
Didn’t think the from address was used or checked but maybe it is.
It is checked due to spoofing issues. Especially when using a ‘public’ mail host as it were.
