What could cause gaps in the Memory/CPU Trend?

I've never seen this before, but overnight there was a stretch of a few hours where the trend is showing gaps:

I haven't noticed anything else concerning other than a couple recent clock drift events which I mentioned in another post, one of which happened about an hour before those gaps:

EDIT: Just noticed those same gaps are also in the CPU Trend:

I'm going to guess you have more resource utilization issues than just garbage collection.
