What is the latest information on Micro800 communication

I read somewhere that it is now possible to communicate with the micro800 controllers via Ethernet I/P rather than Modbus. Is that correct? Did anybody try this yet?

That would be the beta of my major module upgrade:

I test against an ML850 in my lab, but more testing is always welcome.

Hi any good news with ML850? Do we still need to use modbus?

IA has said that their native ML8xx driver will show up "soon" (before 8.3), but I haven't seen a more specific forecast.

Or you can use my driver today. In any version of 8.1. (The initial beta ended in April.)
