What port and protocol does designer use to connect to server?

New IT folks at a corpo need this information so they can open up my access to a ignition server via designer.

I thought the port would be the same as whatever the gateway page is assigned to, and the protocol I assume is TCP/IP. Can someone confirm/deny these things?

It's HTTP(S) on the HTTP(S) ports.
