When the Tag is disabled the active alarm goes away from the Alarm summary

I have a UDT which has 100 tags in it. the UDT instance will get disabled after the logic is executed.
if the logic generates an alarm, the alarm appears for a brief time in the alarm summary but once the UDT instance is disabled, the tag generating the alarm also gets disabled. When this happens, the alarm which is showing up on the alarm summary also disappears.

is there a way to display this alarm to the operator.
i am using ignition 7.9.4

Cross posted, but again… maybe disable the alarm instead of the UDT. Disabling the UDT reduces it to the primal soup of DISABLED.
