The project I am working on is using a font called Dialog. I can't seem to find this exact font anywhere and I am trying to use it on my regular PC just to compare the length of some text. Does anyone know where I can find this font?
You won't find it, Dialog is a logical font that is guaranteed to be available to any Java application.
It's mapped to Noto Sans in Ignition 8.0+

The real question is why do you have to compare the lenght of a text.
I hope you arent going to try to find a different font to be able to fit some long text inside somewhere it doesnt currently fit xd

I had to compare the length to give a maximum message length to a customer, who can then use the same font and compare to the longest message that I tested. Just curious, what would be the problem with using a different font to fit all of the text?
Your should not use a lot of different fonts, because its ugly and hard to read.
You should not try to make text go smaller than default, because its hard to read.
For the general Ignition use, you dont need long texts.
If you need long texts you should use dynamic fields that grow in size, get a scrollbar or hide the long text behind an info tooltip
