Which code signing certificate should I get for the module?

Hi guys, Just wanted to figure out which code signing certificate should I get for the module.

It almost doesn’t matter. Ignition doesn’t look at it or care, only your customers will maybe see that your module is signed by a real code signing certificate or not.

I just switched from DigiCert to SSL.com because DigiCert tripled their prices. FWIW.

but ignition software seems to accept only a signed version of the software. what about that

You can do code signing with a self-signed certificate. You have to provide your customers with some way to verify its fingerprint.
