Hi… I got a application for installing a cognex vision system for finding out the leakage in the carburetor when it is immersed in turpentine oil… If it is a defect part, water bubble will comes out from any surface 360 degree… The time taken for the robot to click the carburetor on both sides and immerse it in the oil is of 15 sec… Help me with the installation …
If it’s any surface, you will need more than one camera. You may be able to use a combination of edge detection and stretch filters to get something usable. Putting some food coloring in the water would give you some extra contrast to the turpentine.
That said, how does this tie in with Ignition?
