When I import a project from SYSTEM-Projects, a project named as “global” is asked to be created except the project I am importing. If this “global” is not created, the imported project will not work. However, this “global” does not exist in the Gateway of desiger who created the imported project. I should created this “global” or not. Thanks for your help!
In Ignition v8, all of your “shared scripts” now reside in it’s own project. It’s default name is “global”.
So, yes, it is safe to create “global”.
