We have one customer who has problems with Ignition after windows updates (not every one, but it's happened several times over the last few months)
The latest was on January 16th, where the driver update Dell Extension 1.12.2.169 caused connectivity issues with the PLC and Ignition had to be stopped and restarted from the console to fix it.
I sometimes see a windows interface slow to a crawl and get buggy. Since it's windows, my first troubleshooting step is to restart it. That's usually when I'm hit with an unscheduled update that takes way too long to complete. I imagine that the slowness is caused by some background agent disproportionally using resources to prep the update, but it wouldn't surprise me at all to find out that the software does this maliciously to force the reboot. Either way, it's an unnecessary point of frustration for any production environment.
