Wrapper.log is too large

I have a problem with this file, its too large. Under the ingition.conf is set as default 1024MB so I have no idea how to solve it. Please I need your help.

there are some wrapper settings in the Ignition/data/igntion.conf file

The default configuration is to rotate the wrapper log when it grows past a configured size (defaults to keeping 5 rolled files of 10MB maximum size), e.g.:

# Maximum size that the log file will be allowed to grow to before
# the log is rolled. Size is specified in bytes. The default value
# of 0, disables log rolling. May abbreviate with the 'k' (kb) or
#  'm' (mb) suffix.  For example: 10m = 10 megabytes.
wrapper.logfile.maxsize=10m

# Maximum number of rolled log files which will be allowed before old
# files are deleted. The default value of 0 implies no limit.
wrapper.logfile.maxfiles=5

Typical causes of logfile rotation failure are something holding onto a lock on that file, something like an antivirus program, for example. At this point, you can try simply deleting it (recommend Shift-Delete to immediately delete versus trying to send to Recycle Bin). It will re-create the file automatically.

settings seem normal

Has the gateway service been restarted since those changes were made? They don't take immediate effect.

Actually I didn't make any changes, I misspelled on the first post, sorry for that.

There was a problem with user file permissions over Log directory, I had to ask IT team to give "Modify" permissions, erase that wrapper.log file and restart the gateway. :slight_smile:
