Write to remote tag provider

Hello Ignition's ninjas!

I setup a remote tag provider from gateway 1 (source) to gateway 2 (client). Actually, the client gateway cannot write to the tags of the source gateway. Both gateway are ion version 8.1.33.

I setup no restriction...

Any idea?

Yeah, this bit me on a customer site a few months ago.. By default, remote tag providers are set up in the Default security zone so they are read-only, so if you didn't set up any restrictions, this would be the reason why.

The best resource I found to walk through this is the IU videos on setting up a remote tag provider, even though it's for an older version. That is what I used last time I had to do this and it helped me out.
